Glendale Arizona – A Great Place to Live and Play

Considering a move to Arizona? What do you really know about Arizona and what do you want to know?  Is Arizona a place of lizards and cactus or does it have more to offer?

It does, it’s a place of wonderful neighborhoods and communities. Glendale is one of the suburbs of Phoenix and is a large town with a small hometown atmosphere with events throughout the year that brings the city and the people who live there together in celebration.

What is about Glendale Arizona, specifically that makes it so special? Is it the romantic, wild wild west or a sophisticated oasis in the desert? Watch for my photo tour of the area and get to know more about Glendale, Arizona and see if this is “Your New hometown in Arizona”.

Metro Phoenix has several suburbs including Mesa, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria, Scottsdale, Surprise, Avondale, Tolleson, Goodyear and several other smaller cities surrounding Phoenix Arizona. Glendale is just west of Phoenix and offers many local amenities such as the Glendale Community College, ASU West has a campus in Glendale, there is also Thunderbird School of Global Management, several parks, local businesses, restaurants, and much more.

I’ve lived in Glendale for over 20 years. It’s known for it’s downtown Antique areas, unique shops, Holiday and City events including Glendale Glitters and Glitter and Glow, plus the Chocolate Affair. In more recent years, Glendale has become a sports city with the Jobing Arena and the Cardinals Football team playing at the University of Phoenix stadium.

Hopefully with our photos and tour around the city you will find out what Glendale is really like and if it’s a community you would want to learn more about. I’ve sold homes in the Glendale area for over 15 years and it’s one of my favorite Metro Phoenix cities.

Arizona has several other suburbs and I will showcase them, also. I remember when I moved to Arizona I really didn’t know anything about it, about the history or the interesting places to visit. So, let’s begin your tour of the area with Glendale, AZ.
